Bald Eagle Rescued from Car Grill After Hurricane Matthew

It certainly was not the average 911 call, but then again Hurricane Matthew had just ripped through Florida, so anything could happen. Anything happened to be a bald eagle stuck in the grill of a car.

Clay County Sheriff’s Office reported the incident through its Facebook page, detailing how responders were able to free the bald eagle and send it for care through a local group called BEAKS. And to honor the bird, they’ve named him Matthew.
