Alligator hunting down in the Florida has been ongoing for the past month, which has made for strange encounters on the streets of Sarasota.
After a man and his wife had returned from gator hunting, a Sheriff’s deputy pulled them over for a busted tail light on their boat trailer. When officers approached the trailer, they were in for a shocker.
First the boat was covered in blood, quite a suspicious sight even a rookie officer. Then they saw a dead alligator with Superman duct tape around its mouth.
After checking the man’s paperwork and hunting license, they all had a good laugh about the scene. The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office shared a photo with a letter from the couple on their Facebook page.
