House cats love to drag in lizards so it’s no wonder that jaguars love to drag in alligators.
During a safari in Brazil, one visitor filmed a truly remarkable encounter between a jaguar and a caiman. The jaguar is seen from an adjacent river bank scanning the water for something that caught it’s interest when suddenly it dives into the water. Moments later it emerges with a 4-foot caiman in it’s mouth, which is basically a small alligator.
