Bull Moose Brawl on Suburban Alaska Street

If you live in Alaska, you just learn to accept a certain amount of nature in your backyard. That’s why most people move to Alaska.

Moose roaming the streets of Anchorage is a common occurrence throughout the year, but in the first few weeks of October, during what’s termed the rut — or mating season — things can get especially heated.

One Alaska community had ringside seats recently to a heavy-weight bout between two bull moose. They locked horns in a driveway, pushing one another across the street, fending off near parked cars with eventually one coming out victorious.

Check out round 1 below.

In round 2, a victor was declared.
