Red Reflet Ranch is Everything Wyoming is Known For

At Red Reflet Ranch guests enjoy the beauty of Wyoming and five star luxury in a landscape that varies from red rimrock to rolling foothills and aspen forests, limestone canyons to mountain meadows.

Red Reflet is a working cattle ranch and outdoor adventure resort located on more than 27,000 acres in the Big Horn Mountains.

Your days here will be filled with a variety of adventures with something for everyone in this spectacular wilderness.

There are rock sites rated from moderate to difficult, all with spectacular views for the climbers who challenge them. The ranch also offers mountain bikes so guests can explore.

Need more punch? The ranch has 20 ATVs including 4 Kiddy ATVs and will provide instruction on operation and safety for those who want to head out solo, and they give tours along the trails.

Horseback riding is a big part of ranch life and ranch experts match guests to the mount that meets their experience and riding ambitions. All equipment is provided and there are indoor and outdoor riding arenas where you can improve your skills while having a great time.

If you’re ready to channel your inner cowboy and cowgirl, you might choose to ride along with ranch cowhands as they look after the herds, take part in a cattle drive or help with penning and branding. The crew will help you choose which activities are right for your riding experience.

The ranch has a rifle range and skeet shooting area and provides instruction and lessons on gun safety.

There are endless beautiful places to explore for hikers, including a small private canyon on the lower ranch that was formerly a lion’s den, and trails in the nearby Nature Conservancy.

Other mild-to-wild activities include cooking classes with the chef, laps in the 30-foot pool, and the four course zip line that sails over ponds and the forested wilderness below. There’s a practice pond for fly fishing, local reservoirs for panfish, and outstanding trout fishing right on the ranch.

And for those devoted to their regular workout routines, the fitness center has a variety of the best equipment at your disposal.

Perhaps the most unusual activity is the Dinosaur Dig at a site where more than 11 complete dinosaur remains have been unearthed since 2006. Dana Quarry is a fascinating treasure trove being excavated by Dinosauria International that will take you back 150 million years in time.

A choice of accommodations helps make the stay special. The Panorama Chalet sleeps six and offers spectacular views over the canyons through the stunning floor-to-ceiling window wall and from the large deck with private hot tub. The Ranch House is designed for large families and groups and sleeps 14.

Among its pleasures is a large bedroom with king bed and fireplace, a bunk room, a steam shower, large sauna, and 8-person enclosed hot tub on the outside deck. Six guests are comfortable at the Ponds Chalet, with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, 6-person hot tub and patio dining.

Rates for a stay start at $1700 for a 3-night stay. For more information visit Red Reflet Ranch.
