Whale Shark Relieves Itself on Free Diver

If you’ve ever jumped in the water with hopes of getting an up close look at a whale shark, you know how elusive these massive creatures can be. But what seemed like the right place right time for one free diver, turned out to be just the opposite.

Whale sharks don’t like to stick around long, which is why a recent encounter off Isla Mujeres on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico was so exceptional. Not only did this free diver get close to the bigggest fish in the sea than most, he got so close in fact that the whale relieved itself right in the diver’s face.
